The Glasgow School for Business and Society wishes to appoint a Lecturer in broadcast and Online Journalism to join its Department of Social Sciences, Media and Journalism; this is a full-time fixed term appointment, although applicants wishing a fractional/job share appointment, such as 0.8FTE, may also be considered.
Our successful postgraduate and undergraduate programmes in Multimedia Journalism and Media & Communication have a focus on tuition in industry standard radio, television and online media, ensuring that our graduates are equipped for employment in journalism and other areas of the media.
We seek a lecturer with industry experience of broadcast and online media who is able to tech undergraduate and postgraduate students to the standards required by our accrediting bodies, the National Council for the Training of Journalists (NCTJ) and the Broadcast Journalism Training Council (BJTC).
