Leeds Trinity University’s School of Arts and Communication brings together staff expertise across a range of disciplines – Journalism, Media, Film, History, English and Theology and Religious Studies – along with excellent industry links, a strong focus on the development of employability skills in our students and a newly-invigorated emphasis on research bolstered by a growing community of PhD students and the work of two research centres.
The School has an exciting opportunities for an enthusiastic and highly-skilled academic to join its teaching team and help to shape course provision, research and collaboration with industry.
We are looking to appoint a lecturer with excellent radio journalism experience and a strong grasp of podcasting as well as the tools and techniques required to tell stories online and to distribute them using a variety of platforms. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience of the most up-to-date working practices, including social and mobile journalism skills. We need a team member who understands the benefits of collaborative working with a broad variety of industry partners and who will work to develop new links for the benefits of our students, graduate employability and our research expertise.
