A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a super organised, skilled and creative Post Production Coordinator at London Film Academy. LFA produces multi-skilled, world-class filmmakers through intensive, hands-on training from practising industry professionals in a collaborative and nurturing environment.
The main purpose of this role is to co-ordinate the Academy’s post production, IT, technical and distribution needs so that operations and courses are viable, delivered on time and to agreed quality standards and in line with the LFA vision. It involves system maintenance, IT operations, technical and creative editing and engagement with students.
This position would be ideal for a multi-skilled team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills who enjoys a variety of work and is passionate about the customer journey.
This is a full-time role (40 hours per week), starting in October 2017 (tbc). The salary is £20-24,000 per annum.
Essential skills and experience: Editing and awareness of relevant software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro and Avid Media Composer; knowledge of IT systems, specifically strong understanding of Apple Macs and relevant operating systems, hardware and software; scheduling/facilities management; archiving and understanding of DIT; awareness and active interest of film distribution relating to online platforms, film festivals and other areas of film exhibition.
